This treatment can be very effective in diminishing the appearance wrinkles in the forehead when the face is at rest and while laughing or frowning. We perform this procedure in order to create a fresh rejuvenated appearance.
We administer it safely and only after a thorough explanation of its effects.
This treatment aims to remove or minimise wrinkles on the face. It fills out the area just beneath the wrinkle (the dermis) that has sagged or deflated with wear and tear. This deflation or sag is what makes the lines of facial expression into wrinkles.
Temporary reversal of this with injections can restore a more youthful appearance.
As the safe treatment of any skin lesion (patch or growth) must begin with an accurate diagnosis, we provide this service in order to aid in the rapid diagnosis of moles and other skin lesions.

Choosing the best procedure or combination of procedures for you is important. The consultant will help you with this choice during a consultation. Here he will inform you about what the procedures can achieve and the potential risks associated with each procedure.
Before your consultation, it is important to know what particular facial feature you have that you are most unhappy with and then to hear whether there is a surgical procedure available to improve it.
These procedures are mostly performed under general anaesthetic either as a day case or as an inpatient.
Mr O`Sullivan specialise in this procedure. Breast reconstruction can be immediate (on the same day as the mastectomy) or it can be delayed (after the mastectomy and subsequent therapy).
Breast reconstruction can be performed in various ways using silicone implants and tissue expanders, this procedure can also be done using parts of your body alone or in combination with implants.
There are many factors that can influence your choice of reconstruction and some procedures will be more appropriate than others.
If you are considering breast reconstruction surgery, we would recommend that you arrange a consultation with us in order to discuss the breast reconstruction methods most suited to you and the pros and cons of each procedure.
Head and Neck Reconstruction
Surgery to eradicate tumours on the Head and Neck can be quite destructive.
Mr O'Sullivan works alongside Mr G O`Leary (ENT surgeon at The South Infirmary-Victoria University Hospital and The Bon Secours Hospital) to reconstruct the Head and Neck of patients who have gone through this form of tumour biopsy. They also perform this reconstruction surgery in the Cork University Hospital.
This type of reconstructive surgery greatly improves quality of life.
